Melina grew up in Northern Virginia with her parents and three brothers. She attended Luther Preparatory School and graduated in 2019. She then went on to Martin Luther College where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education, graduating in May 2023. She graduated with a major in Elementary Education. This fulfilled the goal Melina set in kindergarten to become a teacher. The 23-24 school year is her first year as a full time teacher, and she is excited to begin her ministry and career at St. Paul’s. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, discovering new music, and seeing interesting sights. Melina looks forward to watching and supporting her students as they grow in their academic, emotional, and spiritual lives.
